Extended Day Program Information

During the school year, Extended Day is open to students (kindergarten through 6th grade or 12 years old) registered at the same school as the program.

We are licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Child Care Licensing (DHS). They inspect our sites on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with their regulations in maintaining a safe environment for our children.

We are also contracted with the Department of Economic Security Child Care Assistance (DES). DES provides financial help for daycare costs to those who qualify. You can call them directly to be prescreened for qualification at 602-771-0014.

Funding for the program relies on payments collected for childcare charges. Because we are a drop-in program, we charge by the hour and only charge for the amount of time spent in our program. Parents will be billed after the week is over and payments are made weekly at the site in which the child attends.

Current Rates & Fees

SCHOOL YEAR RATES:

Registration Fee:	$30/per child or $60 max/per family (for new enrollees)

Participant Fee:	$15/per child or $30 max/per family (For returning children only

Regular Rate:	$4.25/hour (charged to the youngest child in family)

Sibling Rate:	$4.00/hour (Charged to older children)

GESD Employee Rate:	$3.50/hour
