Welcome to the Purchasing Department of the Glendale Elementary School District (GESD)

In an average year, GESD issues almost 7,000 Purchase Orders with an estimated value of $33 million.  All purchases involve public money, and are therefore subject to State Procurement Law.

 Our Mission

The Purchasing Department strives to serve the entire District by locating and purchasing material goods, services and construction requred to assist the District in fulfilling its goals and objectives, while ensuring that all purchasing services are performed in accordance with the Arizona Administrative Code of School District Procurement Rules, applicable State Statutes, and GESD Policy.
