Supplies Needed for Class:
- Pocket Folder with prongs *(Each class will have a specific color & the students will be told in class what color he/she needs)*
- Spiral Notebook *(Each class will have a specific color & the students will be told in class what color he/she needs)*
- Pencils (at least 3)
- Highlighter
- Lined Paper
- Red Pen (for grading)
Please practice the multiplication and division drills with your child. They are given a drill log for you to sign so that I know they are practicing their multiplication and division at home. As soon as the log is completely filled out they turn it in for a prize!

GRADING SYSTEM
A = 90 – 100%
B = 80 – 89%
C = 70 – 79%
D = 60 – 69%
F = 59% or below
Your grade is based on the points you have earned out of the total possible points. Your grade is based upon test/quizzes, homework, classwork, performance/participation.
AGENDAS
You are required to fill out your agenda for the entire week on Monday from the side board.
OBJECTIVES
Content/lesson and language objectives are written on the side board.
BELL WORK
Every day when you enter the room, there will be a short assignment on the board. It will be completed on the same sheet of paper all week and turned in on Fridays. You must be responsible and keep all your daily bell work together so you can turn it in on Friday.
ABSENCES/LATE WORK
If you are absent and it is excused, you have 1 day for each day you were absent to make up your work.
I do accept late work, but you will lose points on the assignement.
STUDENT MANAGERS
Each month two students per class may serve as managers. These students are in charge of various jobs in the room and running errands.
PAPERS
Make sure all papers have your first & last name, class #, period, and date in the top right hand corner. As papers are returned to you, HOLD all graded papers until progress/report card time in your class folder.
