Welcome to Harold W. Smith School. We are a K-8 school located near historic downtown Glendale, Arizona. Our teachers and staff are highly motivated and caring professionals committed to providing the best educational opportunities for our students. Our mission is to work in partnership with parents, students and community to provide a high quality education in a safe and respectful environment that will enable students to develop a legacy of learning and become productive members of society. While attending school, students at Smith are expected to have respect, organize themselves, work and play safely, listen and learn. Smith is the center of the community we serve. Our campus offers opportunities for both students and parents to participate in a variety of educational and extracurricular activities such as band, sports, art, music, student council, yearbook, 21st Century afterschool program (GEO), Boys and Girls Club, parenting and adult English as a second language classes. We strive to be the best that we can by working together because working together works!
