Welcome to Challenger Middle School for the 2011-2012 academic year! Challenger Middle School serves students in 4th through 8th grade. Many and diverse learning experiences are in place for your children this year. Our goal is to challenge your children intellectually, grow them socially, and guide them toward independent thinking and problem solving. As we strive to promote healthy development in all aspects of each student's life, we also strive to develop a student body of good character; students who make good choices and decisions resulting in successful and healthy outcomes. We encourage students to demonstrate the best of themselves every moment of everyday and to make positive contributions to the groups and organizations to which they belong. We strive to instill within all of our students a sense of personal pride as well as collective pride and love of and for our school. In addition, Challenger promotes the Kids at Hope School philosophy. We believe that, “All Children are Capable of Success, No exceptions.” During announcements each day, students are encouraged to say the “Kids at Hope Pledge”:

Challenger has a Uniform Dress Code Policy

Shirts:  Navy blue, Royal blue, light blue, white, or maroon colored shirts. 

 Shirts must be collared, 2 to 5 Button short sleeve Polo style shirts.  

Pants/Shorts/Skirts/Skorts:  Navy blue or Khaki

 Undershirt must match outer shirt and must not be seen.
