DISTRICT STATEMENT
In compliance with ARS 15-341(40), the Glendale Elementary School District recognizes a safe and civil environment is necessary to ensure that students feel secure in order to learn, and achieve high academic standards. The District acknowledges its responsibility to promote and maintain a healthy, safe, structured and caring learning environment in which all members of the school community are treated with dignity and respect. Bullying of students by other students will not be tolerated.
DEFINITION OF BULLYING
Bullying means systematic, repeated, or recurrent conduct committed by a student or group of students against another student(s) or group of students that causes social/emotional and/or physical harm or distress. Bullying may be physical, verbal, written, electronic, and/or psychological in nature.
Bullying may include, but is not limited to, pushing, hitting, kicking, spitting, stealing, destroying property, making threats, gesturing, posturing, name calling, spreading rumors, manipulating social relationships, and social exclusion.
These actions may occur in many different settings, including but not limited to district transportation, school premises, and school sanctioned events. Bullying may also occur while students are traveling to and from school.
REPORTING
Forms are available at the school for confidential reporting. The forms are located in the library and the front office. If you feel you are being bullying please complete the confidential form and give the form to a school official. |

DEFINITION OF BULLYING
Intimidación significa conducta sistemática, repetida o recurrente, cometido por un estudiante o un grupo de estudiantes contra otro alumno (s) o un grupo de estudiantes que causa daño social/emocional o físico o angustia. La intimidación puede ser físico, verbal, escrita, electrónica o psicológico en la naturaleza. Intimidación puede incluir, pero no se limita a, empujando, golpear, patear, escupir, robo, destrucción de bienes, amenazas, nombre de gesturing, postura, llamar a difundir rumores, manipular las relaciones sociales y la exclusión social. Estas acciones pueden ocurrir en muchos ámbitos diferentes, incluyendo pero no limitándose a transporte de distrito, locales escolares y los eventos de la escuela sancionado. También pueden ocurrir actos de intimidación, mientras que los estudiantes están de viaje hacia y desde la escuela.
REPORTING
