    Situated in the heart of historic Glendale, Arizona, the Glendale Elementary School District proudly serves almost 14,000 students in 17 campuses with over 1400 employees.  We purchase an estimated $33 million worth of goods, services, materials and supplies each year.  Our Purchasing Department assists schools, departments and vendors navigate the local, state and federal rules of procurement while acquiring the highest quality goods and services at the lowest possible cost to taxpayers.  The ultimate goal is to ensure students have all that is necessary to succeed in their education.

    The Purchasing Department insists on fair competition and ethical standards to provide vendors with an opportunity to offer their products and services to the District.  We look forward to working with you in the near future.  

    GESD is proud to belong to many cooperative purchasing groups.  We participate in Greater Phoenix Purchasing Consortium of School (GPPCS), Arizona State Procurement Office (ProcureAZ), Mohave Educational Services Cooperative (MESC), Strategic Alliance for Volume Expenditures (SAVE), Arizona Department of Education Contracts, The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN)/National IPA, 1GPA.
