Destruction of Records for School Year 2020/2021
In accordance with federal statute 34 CFR § 300.624, this serves as a public notice that Glendale Elementary School District #40 will be destroying the records of students who left the district or exited services in the 2015/2016 school year. Special Education records are destroyed five (5) years after a student has been withdrawn, transferred, graduated, or exited from special education services at the district. If you are a parent or student who needs a copy of these records for any reason, i.e. Social Security benefits, please contact the Special Education Department at

Home-School Special Education Services
Attention all residents of Glendale Elementary School District with students who are home-schooled: If you have concerns that your child requires special education or your child has a current Individualized Education Program (IEP), please contact the Special Education department at (623) 237-7148 for information. We will be holding a virtual meeting on June 10, 2021 at 4:00 PM and an in person meeting on July 29, 2021 at 4:00 PM with further information. If you are interested in attending either meetings, please contact the Special Education department.
