GESD Families,

First and foremost, we hope you and your family are well. On Thursday, May 28th Governor Ducey announced schools would open in the fall. Today, June 1st the Arizona Department of Education has provided guidelines for schools to begin planning for the return to school. We will begin working with sub-committees of staff, students and community along with legal counsel to prepare for welcoming students and families back to school in August. Each school currently has a school safety committee and they will also provide input. In the next few weeks, you will receive another survey to gather input. Please know that all decisions will be made in the best interest of the health of our students and staff in the Glendale Elementary School District, the health and safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. Meanwhile, please visit the www.gesd40.org for the most updated information.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely
